There are over 700 species of eucalyptus, or gum trees, most of them found in Australia. They are highly flammable trees, though generally fire-adept; they will quickly re-sprout after bush fires, and carry seeds that are fire resilient. With luck, this pint sized gum tree will never experience a bush fire, and will be a wonderful addition to your Aussie-themed small world play.
