Bumbu Toys - Hippo Big

Handcrafted in Romania, Bumbu Toys brings the beauty of nature to life through exquisite wooden figures and scenery. Every piece is individually hand-carved and hand-painted by skilled artisans, celebrating traditional craftsmanship while inspiring imaginative, open-ended play. With deep appreciation for wildlife, storytelling and the natural world, Bumbu creations are made to be treasured and enjoyed for years to come.

Crafted from sustainably sourced maple wood, each Bumbu piece is carefully hand-carved and finished with non-toxic, water-based paints and sealers. The natural wood grain and handcrafted details make every piece beautifully unique, celebrating the character of real wood.

Natural variations are an inherent part of wooden products. Please review our Learn About Natural Wood page for details on these characteristics and what is considered normal before placing your order.

To preserve the natural beauty of your wooden toy, wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking in water or using harsh cleaning products. Store in a dry place away from prolonged moisture and direct sunlight. As wood is a natural material, subtle variations and changes over time are part of each piece's unique character.
