Grimm's Leonardo Sticks
Leonardo da Vinci is best known as the Renaissance artist who painted the Mona Lisa. However, he has also been called the father of architecture and engineering. These Leonardo sticks enable children to experience his ingenious method for building a self-supporting bridge without the need for ropes or fixings, held together only by the pieces of wood.
With these simple building components older children will be challenged to follow the enclosed instructions to build an arched bridge or a dome using only the sticks and nothing else. Younger children can have fun creating their own shapes and structures. These colourful flat sticks combine well with other wooden building sets from Grimm’s.
Leonardo Sticks are a great tool for developing an understanding of spacial and structural concepts, developing patience, and are a wonderful addition to imaginative and small world play.
