Did you know that Ibis are colloquially known as 'bin chickens' in Australia, because of their rather forward scavenging methods in suburbia? When left to their own in nature, however, they love to snack on ground dwelling insects and spiders. This little one won't eat anything it shouldn't, and is excited to play!

About the Maker

Founded by Eryn in Queensland, Australia, NOM Handcrafted is a one-woman studio where every piece is personally designed, handcrafted and hand-painted by Eryn herself. Inspired by the beauty of nature and Australian wildlife, each creation is thoughtfully made in small batches to encourage imaginative, open-ended play. With a focus on quality craftsmanship and timeless design, NOM Handcrafted pieces are made to be treasured for years to come.

Materials & Finish

Crafted from sustainably sourced maple wood and individually hand-painted by Eryn using non-toxic, water-based paints and sealers. The natural wood grain and subtle variations in each piece make every NOM Handcrafted creation truly one of a kind.

Natural variations are an inherent part of wooden products. Please review our Learn About Natural Wood page for details on these characteristics and what is considered normal before placing your order.
