Did You Know? The Spix Macaw, also known as the Little Blue Macaw, is one of the rarest birds in the world. In the wild, they are native to Brazil and are critically endangered (there are only 160 left in captivity worldwide!) due to habitat loss and illegal trapping for the pet trade. Your child's love for this wooden macaw can help raise awareness and support conservation efforts!

Materials & Finish

Crafted from sustainably sourced maple wood and individually hand-painted by Eryn using non-toxic, water-based paints and sealers. The natural wood grain and subtle variations in each piece make every NOM Handcrafted creation truly one of a kind.

Natural variations are an inherent part of wooden products. Please review our Learn About Natural Wood page for details on these characteristics and what is considered normal before placing your order.
