Together with her partner Col, Riva runs Billabong Bend Campground, where travellers who plan to stay one night somehow end up staying for a week. Riva is the heart of the camp kitchen. There's always a fresh batch of scones cooling on the bench, a tin of homemade bikkies within reach, and an egg mayo sandwich wrapped in wax paper for anyone who looks even slightly hungry. She knows everyone's name within five minutes of arrival and treats every camper like family. You can usually hear Riva before you see her. Her infectious laugh echoes through the campground, and her wonderfully wicked sense of humour keeps everyone smiling. She has a knack for telling cheeky stories that make the grown-ups laugh while the little ones wonder what everyone found so funny.

Inspired by founder Dana's experience rescuing an orphaned joey in the Northern Territory, each Rugaroo celebrates Australia's unique wildlife, landscapes and way of life.
