Tara Treasures is a Melbourne-based, Fair-Trade Certified brand creating beautifully handcrafted felt toys and play resources that inspire imaginative, open-ended play. Each piece is thoughtfully designed in Australia and lovingly handcrafted by skilled women artisans in Nepal using traditional felting techniques. By working closely with artisan communities, Tara Treasures helps provide fair wages, sustainable employment and opportunities that help preserve generations of craftsmanship.

Tara Treasures products are handcrafted from 100% New Zealand wool, sustainably sourced and coloured using AZO-free, non-toxic dyes that are safe for children. Each piece is individually needle-felted and wet-felted by skilled artisans, giving it its own unique character and gentle texture. As every piece is handmade from natural wool, slight variations, pilling and fuzzing are a normal characteristic that adds to its charm.

Spot clean with a damp cloth whenever possible. For a deeper clean, gentle hand wash in cold water using a mild wool detergent. Do not machine wash, soak, wring or tumble dry. Reshape while damp and lay flat to air dry away from direct sunlight.
